The Friends of Marrick Priory generate interest and support for the work of the Priory and its staff, as well as supporting long term fund raising for major items of expenditure.
In order to support the work at Marrick Priory, the Friends:
Any money raised helps to support our Bursary Fund, which allows children who would otherwise not have been able to visit the Priory, to come and enjoy the range of activities offered.

Marrick Priory is a Charitable Trust in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales and is based on non-profit making principles. We offer residential outdoor education opportunities for young people from all backgrounds. Visitors experience an unparalleled range of activities including climbing, caving, canoeing and orienteering in a caring environment where emphasis is laid on personal friendship and peer support.
Please donate to support our cause. The money we raise will be used to provide bursaries for children from deprived backgrounds. Without financial support these children would be denied a life enhancing opportunity. Donations have also been used to purchase such things as waterproofs, a kayak trailer, a pool table, and picnic tables.
Money is also urgently needed for a new Resource Centre to enable more young people to access our facilities and open up the Centre to those with disabilities.
The Priory is a Charitable Trust and is based on non-profit making principles. We seek to make our fees for visiting groups as reasonable as possible to cover the running costs of the organisation. We believe that every individual should have the opportunity to benefit from a visit to the Priory and we have a Bursary fund to assist individuals who face financial disadvantage. The bursary fund is supported by charitable giving and the fundraising work of the Friends of Marrick Priory. If you would like to make a donation above.
